Greetings!
Spring is a great time to install solar! More & more people are taking advantage of solar energy, and making their electric meter spin backwards! Come learn more at the following events...
|
 | 3 NET METERS INSTALLED IN ONE DAY!
|

Mountain View Solar is
excited to announce the completion Monday of three new net-metering, solar
photovoltaic systems located right here in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia! All three homes have recently installed
solar photovoltaic systems that provide between 4.5-6.4 kilowatts and utilize
20-28, 230 watt solar panels, located on the roof of the home or on a nearby
"solar shed" built specifically for the placement of solar panels adjacent to
the home.
By interconnecting their
renewable systems to the local utility provider's grid, or becoming
"grid-tied", these homes have the capability to net-meter energy generated by
these systems. Net-metering allows
these residences to actually reduce the amount of energy they have consumed by reversing
the direction of the meter while energy is being produced by the solar
photovoltaic system, but is not being used. This is a fantastic way to reduce any home's power bill and
overall energy demand!
